Depth therapy is a therapeutic practice based on the work of Swiss psychiatrist Carl G. Jung. Depth therapy is founded on the belief that most mental health issues are caused by unconscious motivations and that revealing and exploring these motivations is the key to healing. Although there are many different approaches that fall under the umbrella of depth therapy, one unifying goal of therapists who specialize in depth therapy is to integrate the unconscious mind with the conscious.
