What’s troubling you? What’s upsetting you? What’s making you sad, anxious, angry, fearful, lonely or unheard? What’s that something inside you that you can’t fathom but is affecting your life? These feelings are more common than you think and may often be caused by long held beliefs about ourselves, previous life events or traumatic incidents, family or relationship problems, work issues, loss and bereavement or simply a need to understand why you feel something is not right. Whatever is happening in your life I am here to help. I am a BACP Registered Integrative Psychotherapist & Therapeutic Counsellor and together we can start a journey of discovery to help you explore your issues in a caring, confidential, safe and supportive space where you can be heard, understood and accepted; and through that discovery the aim is to find a path to greater understanding to initiate change and growth in your life. I work on a one-to-one basis with adults of all ages and from all walks of life, in a setting that is always caring, safe and private.

Whether you are struggling to find your voice or direction, suffering from anxiety and stress or pressure in a relationship or at work, coming to terms with a loss of confidence or loss of a job, grieving from a bereavement or facing the end of life; I can help you explore your fears and emotions and give you the space and support to talk about the issues. In the real world, one size never fits all because every single one of us is unique. That’s why as an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on various therapeutic methods and techniques. During our time together, we may explore your past and how that informs how you feel and act today; look at current and past family and personal relationships, investigate losses and traumas that have affected you, as well as look at your current lifestyle and work pressures, as well as your ambitions for the future. Many people ask me how does personal therapy work? Can you fix me? What works best? Am I going to feel worse than I do now? How long does it take? Wouldn’t life it be great if we could find someone to simply fix us or sort out the emotions and problems we are facing quickly and easily? Unfortunately (or fortunately), as human beings, the challenges we face emotionally today can be deeply seated in the past and often mask bigger issues. That’s why it’s important to allow time to explore what has brought you to therapy and allow time to address it. Sometimes the process can be done in weeks but more often over some months rather than years. Personal therapy (or psychotherapy/counselling) can help us explore, identify and understand feelings, fears, anxieties, emotions and behaviours that are affecting our happiness or holding us back from realising our full potential. My role is to support, help and guide you through that process, in a caring, confidential, non-judgemental way, where you can say the things, you want to say and explore your innermost feelings, in a safe and empathic space.

I work both privately and within the NHS as an Integrative Psychotherapist & Therapeutic Counsellor. In the NHS my role is wide and varied supporting clinical staff at West London Mental Health Trust as well as working as a specialist bereavement counsellor at Meadow House Hospice at Ealing Hospital. Likewise, privately, many of my clients come from within the creative industries and performing arts, including actors, musicians, writers, artists which reflects my previous career as an advertising creative and writer.
