My therapeutic approach centres around the belief that individuals inherently possess the capacity for self-awareness and positive growth. I believe in a collaborative process, where we work together to explore your strengths, challenges and goals. Creating a judgement-free environment is essential to me, allowing you to express yourself openly and authentically. In our sessions, you are the expert of your own experience. I provide a safe and empathetic environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns without fear or judgement. Together we collaborate to define your goals and I adapt my approach to align with your unique needs and preferences. Whether you’re navigating personal growth, coping with stress, experiencing anxiety or depression, facing micro-aggressions, bullying or misogyny, I am here to accompany you on your journey. My goal is to help you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, enhance trust in yourself, to support you in finding your options for change and foster a sense of empowerment.

My passion for counselling was kindled by having counselling myself. After volunteering for the Samaritans, I studied Person-Centred Counselling at the Metanoia Institute in London. I am working with clients since 2017 and had the privilege of working with women from all walks of life. From 2018 to 2021 I worked with an organisation that specialises in counselling domestic abuse survivors. I regularly engage in professional development activities to stay informed, enhance my skills and ensure that I provide the most effective and compassionate work. Currently I am doing some workshops about neurodiversity. From the photo you can see that I am white and middle-aged. My pronouns are she/her. I’m German and am living in London for almost 20 years. Because I find the difference and diversity of humans enriching, I am open and curious to learn about people’s experiences. I'm convinced that acknowledging our differences will bring us closer together and also helps us to understand ourselves better. My professional background has changed from working as a waitress, being a bookseller and working as an office manager. I am currently in the process of building up my private practice.
