Reaching out for therapy can mean that you feel anxious, lost, burned out, ‘not enough’… We all have our unique stories, and I would be privileged to hear yours. Therapy could help to reframe the way you think, feel, or behave. I see therapeutic change as the process of bringing into awareness, exploring, understanding, and most importantly accepting different aspects of the self. This way life can be lived more authentically, meaningfully, and creatively. I provide an empathetic, non-discriminatory, and attentive environment for you to share whatever it is that's on your mind. I believe in healing power of being truly seen, heard, and understood and as a therapist I intend to facilitate it. Our work will be collaborative with full respect of your autonomy.

I am a qualified integrative/relational counsellor. It means that I am trained in variety of psychotherapeutic approaches - humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural. It allows me to help clients according to their unique needs. I believe that human behaviour is best understood by looking at the whole person individually, and there is no one method which holds an answer. Most importantly I emphasize building a human connection, where a deep level of attunement and trust is established. At the foundation of my work lies a mindful and compassionate inquiry into relationships we have with ourselves and with others. I have interest in how these relational challenges stem from early experiences. Most importantly, my clients matter to me deeply and I am passionate about what I do.

Over the years I gained experience as a therapist within the NHS and charity setting, where I supported range of diverse clients of different backgrounds, age groups and presentations. For 8 years I worked at a school for children and young people with autism. My role there as a Teacher and Yoga/Mindfulness Facilitator was a part of the Occupational Therapy programme and reached out to students, teachers, and parents supporting them in difficult times. The holistic approach of yoga and meditation enriched my life and therapeutic practise. It helps me to be truly present with my clients. I also believe that the mind/body connection is an inherent part of our wellbeing and needs to be tended to. In search of my own meaning I also studied Literature and Arts as for me they both hold a powerful therapeutic potential. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a fully insured private practitioner.
