Nutritional therapy is a combination of biochemistry, nutrition science and lifestyle adjustments aimed at optimising your health. Your body is a dynamic set of interconnected systems that all have the potential to influence each other. Perimenopause involves sex hormones (oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone) as well as gut health, adrenals, thyroid, blood sugar balance, oestrogen metabolism and biotransformation processes. I take a holistic overview of your health, using nutritional therapy to help balance your hormones and support your body through perimenopause. I work with you to develop a personalised nutrition and lifestyle protocol which takes into account your lifestyle needs and food preferences. Programmes encompass dietary counselling and nutrition and lifestyle assessments. The aim is to address underlying imbalances which may be affecting your health, rather than focusing on symptoms alone. Where appropriate, functional testing (e.g., blood tests) and high-quality supplements can be added to enhance your protocol.

I completed a three-year, level 6 Diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CMN) in London. My training included biomedicine, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, food science and coaching. My training and continuing professional development enable me to support clients with science-based natural health interventions. I’m currently an assistant supervisor at the College of Naturopathic Medicine which involves helping students to complete their nutrition training.
