I am a clinical psychologist who is registered in both UK and Australia. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, where the relationship between a therapist and their patient is paramount. My philosophy is to work with your needs in an authentic, supportive and nonjudgmental way. I know that seeking support is not always an easy process, however, with the right understanding and guidance, effective and long-lasting solutions can be explored and discovered together.

Whilst, my main clinical modalities include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused therapy (EFT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), elements of Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) such as distress tolerance techniques, mindfulness and third wave approaches, I do not believe in the one size fits all therapy style. Rather, I like to take a very integrative approach ensuring I tailor the therapy and support to the needs of the client.

I have worked with clients of different age groups across the lifespan, who have varied in their cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and presentations. This has included a role as Clinical lead at a Tier 4 specialised adolescent hospital in London, prior to that I worked as a therapist with children with autism and worked with the forensic population completing assessments with offenders. One of my most memorable roles has included my work for non-for-profit organisation supporting refugees with trauma as a senior advocate which then inspired my research dissertation in my master’s degree. To date I am currently working in private practice supporting young people, families, and adults. Within my experience I have worked with clients of different age groups across the lifespan, whom have varied in their cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and presentations. I work with an array of mental health problems including perfectionism, specific phobia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Autism related difficulties, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), adjustment difficulties, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive mood disorders, and emotional dysregulation. I have also worked with interpreters to deliver assessment and treatment for clients for whom English is not their first language.
